You will be attending EITHER Saturday OR Sunday 10am until 4pm

This course is aimed at beginners or amateur painters and will introduce and run through the following topics;

Assembly and clean up basics.

Brush Priming.

Basecoating fundamentals

Workup method

Wash and method

Metallics

Edge highlights

Simple volumes

The tutor Stu (ThatMrShy) ThatMrShy will be on hand to answer questions and will be painting live throughout the day. During the workshop  the aim is to deliver as much of the course through the principal of see one do one. There will of course be some theory.

Thank you for considering attending, it is our pleasure to host the workshop at The Bustard Tea Rooms). This venue is remote but only 5 minutes from the World Heritage Site of Stonehenge so a car is recommended. If you don’t have a car, then transfers are available from the Airport/ Train stations at additional cost. A Taxi from the station to our venue is around £30. Closer to the time I will get a WhatsApp group set up so you can make any joint arrangements/ get involved in the hype 😊

We want you to have an incredible experience and will be in touch before the date to confirm exact requirements but for now we are expecting you to bring everything you need to paint your minis successfully, and comfortably.

We will provide models, a warm comfortable venue and world class teaching from Stu (ThatMrShy), your painting area will be approximately 1.5m2 and there is free parking onsite.

Food is available onsite and a menu is available at www.thebustardtearooms.co.uk. There are lots of places to eat/ stay locally if you wish but I have made a few suggestions below too.
